Senior Staff GenAI Engineer - Application Performance Monitoring (APM)

Datadog is a cloud monitoring and observability platform providing metrics, logs, traces, and security for modern infrastructure.

Lead the design, development, and deployment of GenAI/ML-powered features for Datadog's APM product, focusing on agentic workflows for automated investigation and incident troubleshooting. Own the technical strategy and long-term direction of GenAI initiatives across APM while mentoring cross-functional teams and influencing product roadmap decisions.

• ·BS/MS/PhD in scientific field or equivalent experience
• ·10+ years engineering experience, 4+ years leading cross-team technical initiatives
• ·Proven track record leading large-scale GenAI/ML initiatives in product-driven environment
• ·Hands-on proficiency in model development, deployment, evaluation, and optimization
• ·Demonstrated ability to use and validate AI coding tools in workflows
