Staff Product Manager, Safety Experience

Discord is a communication platform serving 500M+ users with voice, video, and text channels built around gaming and communities.

Own the vision and roadmap for Discord's safety tools and age-appropriate experiences, defining product strategy that improves safety outcomes across the platform. Partner with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Legal, and Trust & Safety teams to ship user-facing safety features and ML-powered detection systems while balancing complex tradeoffs in a high-stakes environment.

• ·7+ years product management experience or shipping software with prioritization ownership
• ·Track record owning complex product areas at consumer platforms with executive-level alignment
• ·Deep expertise in Trust & Safety, teen safety, or related field
• ·Experience partnering with Design to ship user-facing features
• ·Experience building and shipping ML-based products with precision/recall understanding
