Humanoid robotics company building general-purpose robots designed to work alongside humans in industrial and commercial settings.

Build and lead Apptronik's product safety function for Apollo humanoid robot, owning the end-to-end safety roadmap from risk identification through NRTL certification. Represent the company in standards bodies shaping humanoid robotics regulation while embedding pragmatic safety requirements into electro-mechanical and AI systems.

• ·12+ years safety engineering on complex electro-mechanical or robotic systems with full certification cycle ownership
• ·Deep expertise in HARA, DFMEA, FTA, and safety standards R15.06, R15.08, IEC 62061, IEC 61508
• ·5+ years building and managing safety engineering teams with TÜV or equivalent functional safety certification
• ·Proven track record securing NRTL certifications and navigating consumer safety regulations
• ·Experience with AI/ML safety, autonomous systems, or human-robot interaction safety preferred
