Staff Product Manager, AI Safety

Pinterest is a visual discovery platform where 500M+ users find inspiration for style, home, recipes, and more.

Own the product strategy for GenAI safety across Pinterest's AI-powered surfaces, defining proactive safety frameworks, threat models, and guardrails to ensure AI systems are safe, fair, and trustworthy at scale. Partner with engineering, policy, and data science to translate content guidelines into measurable product requirements and incident response protocols while anticipating emerging AI harms.

• ·7+ years product management with depth in GenAI/ML, trust & safety, or responsible AI
• ·Strong fluency in AI/ML concepts including generative models, RLHF, and recommendation systems
• ·Experience with AI ethics frameworks, responsible AI principles, and regulatory landscapes
• ·Ability to lead cross-functional teams through ambiguous, high-stakes problem spaces
• ·Proficiency in threat modeling, risk validation, and translating insights into product strategies
