Staff Product Manager - API & Agentic Banking

Mercury is a banking platform built for startups offering checking, savings, treasury, and venture debt products.

Own Mercury's API platform and AI-powered product experiences, driving the API from niche read-heavy usage toward a comprehensive integration platform while defining strategy for connecting to broader AI/developer ecosystems. Partner with engineering on technical tradeoffs and work with growth/partnerships teams to make API and AI products competitive advantages in customer acquisition and retention.

• ·10+ years product management experience with API, developer tools, or AI products
• ·Actively building with AI tools; hands-on experience with agents and MCP
• ·Deep understanding of building for developers and technical users
• ·Ability to lead technical tradeoff conversations on API design and data access
• ·Track record turning nascent product areas into coherent strategies with clear roadmaps
